Rounded Rectangle: Common questions:

-“Do you have or know of anyone that rents snowmobiles or ATVs?”

-No. The nearest rental place is 130 miles north of South Bend.

-“How do I ride your trail legally? Do I need to join your club to ride?”

-You do not need to join any club to ride the Buffalo Run Snowmobile trail. To legally ride, your snowmobile must be registered in the state you live in. If you live in Indiana, this means it must be registered in Indiana to ride an Indiana trail.

-Can I ride my ATV on the snowmobile trail?
-No. The snowmobile trail is for sled use only.

-“Does your trail go all the way to New Buffalo, Michigan?”

-Yes, and No. Our snowmobile trail ends at the Michigan state line, but it connects to a Michigan trail that goes through Galien, Three Oaks and ends in New Buffalo, Mi.

Rounded Rectangle: Welcome To The Michiana Trail Riders Coalition Official Website!
We are an ATV and Snowmobile club located on the west side of St. Joseph County in South Bend, Indiana. We install and maintain 70+ miles of snowmobile trails between South Bend and New Carlisle, Indiana. New Carlisle is known as the top city in Indiana year after year for snowfall! Our snowmobile trail system connects with a 25 mile long Michigan snowmobile trail system that extends to New Buffalo, Michigan. We also host ATV and snowmobile rides in Wyoming, Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee and other states.
Partially through the efforts of the MTRC, Marshall County Indiana has legalized the travel of ATV’s on all county roads.
Anyone is welcome to drop in one of our meetings. We meet the 3rd Friday of every month. Meetings are held in our club house on Rice road, just 100 yards North of SR2.
